Hi, I am Inez.
I joined Sentra Lingua at the beginning of 2015. Working as a tutor, trainer, and educator has been my passion since I was still studying to obtain my undergraduate degree. That was the reason to take my Master’s degree in Education. My specialization is educational psychology, which enable me to have a deeper understanding in teaching and learning process. Language, on the other hand, is something that I love to explore, I am fortunate that I am easy to learn new languages, so far, I can speak Indonesian, English, and Dutch for daily conversation. I have been exposed to teaching language since 2005, I started as English and Public speaking coach for high school students, and then I started to teach Bahasa Indonesia for expatriate on 2007. Teaching Bahasa Indonesia to foreigners is not merely teaching for me, I feel that I need to give more than only a language course, I always try to relate the materials to daily life, also introduce Indonesian culture and custom. I believe by teaching, I also learn some things (i.e. other culture, other languages, broaden my knowledge.
